FAQ
Frequently asked questions about eye examinations, appointment scheduling, and the evaluation process.
What should I bring with me to my eye examination?
Bringing your glasses or contact lenses, current medications, previous test results, and any prior eye examination reports will help with the evaluation.
Can I wear contact lenses before my eye examination?
Depending on the planned measurements, you may need to stop wearing contact lenses for a period of time. When scheduling your appointment, it is advisable to specify the type of lenses you use and follow the preparation instructions provided by the clinic.
How is it determined whether I am suitable for laser or lens treatment?
Suitability is determined by evaluating your prescription, corneal structure, ocular surface, age, visual expectations, and overall eye health together. A definitive decision regarding suitability cannot be made online.
Will my pupils be dilated during the examination?
Depending on the scope of the examination, eye drops may be used for a fundus examination. Since the drops may cause temporary light sensitivity or blurred vision, you can plan your transportation accordingly.
Are the treatment method and process the same for everyone?
No. Since eye structure, medical history, current findings, and individual needs vary, the evaluation, treatment approach, and follow-up plan may differ from person to person.
