Botulinum Toksin Applications
It is a toxin obtained from the bacterium Clostiridium botulinum. It stops
the muscle from working by preventing the release of substances that provide
transmission from nerve endings. It is used in many areas of medicine. It is generally used to reduce the lines that appear with the movements of facial
expression muscles and to minimize sweating in areas that sweat excessively.
The most common dynamic lines on the face are the forehead, between the
eyebrows, around the eyes and around the mouth. After botulinum toksinis applied to these facial muscles, reducing the movements of the muscles reduces the lines that occur as a result of the skin folding with muscle movement. Thus, there is a significant improvement in the aged facial expression. In hyperhidrosis
(excessive sweating), botulinum toksin reduces excessive sweating by stopping the transmission between the sweat glands and nerve endings by applying it to the armpits, hands and soles of the feet where the sweat glands are dense. Botulinum toksin is a procedure performed with very little pain, thanks to local anesthetic creams applied 15-20 minutes before application to the application area. A slight redness, swelling and sometimes bruising (ecchymosis) may occur at the application site, resulting in droopy eyelids. It has no serious side effects when performed by an experienced practitioner. Its effect begins in 3-7 days, is fully established in 15 days, and lasts approximately 4-6 months. Duration increases with repeated applications.
Filling Applications
Fillers are applications performed to remove wrinkles and give volume to the
skin. Applications on the lines between the eyebrows, around the eyes, on the
forehead, around the lips and inside the lips give successful results. More
preferred are Hyaluronic acid preparations with temporary effects. These do
not cause allergic reactions. There is no test beforehand. Hyaluronic acid is
a polysaccharide found in all living things. It retains water along with the
collagen fibers that support the tissue in the dermis layer of the skin and
adds volume to the tissue. Since it does not contain animal substances or
toxins, there is no risk of catching diseases from other living creatures.
With aging, Hyaluronic acid in the skin decreases, discharge occurs in the
tissue, and with this replacement, the skin regains its old plump appearance.
Although the duration of effect varies depending on the person’s skin
structure and age, it is generally 6-8 months. Before the application, the
patient is anesthetized with local anesthetic cream. The dermis is entered
with a fine-tipped needle. It is not a very painful procedure. There may be
slight redness and swelling at the injection site. It disappears within a few
hours to a few days. Rarely, there may be redness and swelling that lasts for
weeks.
Mesotherapy Applications
It is a traditional treatment method whose effectiveness has been proven all
over the world and is a middle skin treatment. Microinjections of small
amounts into the problematic area deliver the drug to the target organ without
creating a systematic effect. Application with very thin and short needle tips
may cause slight pain. Slight redness and bruising may occur after
application. Water should not be applied to that area for 8 hours.
Mesotherapy; It is not applied to people with heart failure, kidney failure,
diabetes and those using anticoagulant medication. Mesotherapy;
- Facial mesotherapy
- Hair mesotherapy
- It is applied as body mesotherapy.
